Yana nak kenalkan DIY pack pertama dari Liyanafadila Felt Craft, Hello Kitty t-shirt design.

DIY PACK : HELLO KITTY T-SHIRT DESIGN

Disebabkan DIY Pack nie xder tutorial, jadi Yana nak share kat sini macam mn nak jahit felt kat t-shirt dgn lebih details. Boleh baca kat bawah nie.

PANDUAN NAK JAHIT FELT KAT T-SHIRT :

1. mula ari bahagian dalam baju, iron krts gam kat bahagian blakang tempat kita nak jahit felt.bahagian krtas gam yg berkilat adalah bhgn yg ada gam. mcm org sulam batch, dia ltak krts gam sblm slm batch tue kan.

2. pinkan dengan jarum / peniti kat setiap penjuru krtas gam. sesetengah kertas gam xmelekat kuat kat t-shirt. siap bahagian dalam baju

... 

3. skrg kita nak jahit felt kat baju, di bahagian depan baju. susun cantik2 felt yg kita dah gunting ikut kreativiti kita, kalau nak tebal boleh buat 2 lapis felt. untuk DIY pack Hello Kitty, yana bg 2 felt bahagian muka. kalau nak nampak tebal boleh pakai dua2, kalau xnak pakai satu pun xpa. satu lg boleh tampal kat baju ln.

4. bila betul2 dah puas hati dgn susunan felt kat baju tue, kita lekatkan dgn gam UHU, xnak bg felt bergerak2. kenapa pakai gam UHU bukan jarum? xanka bg felt nampak lubang2 dan gam UHU xterlampau kuat cam gam GAJAH. kalu trsalah letak felt boleh cabut balik.

5. jadi felt akan ad atas baju, baju kat tgah2, dan bawah baju (mksdnya bahagian dalam) ad kertas gam. jahit felt kat baju pakai benang jahitan, buat dua lapis nak bg benang nampak tebal. jahit rapat2 macam jahitan mesin.

Today I want to share some picture from my last week holiday project.... sewing felt on T-shirt. Did you all remember about my post before, regarding some tips to sew felt on T-shirt. If not, you can click to this link : HOW TO SEW FELT ON YOUR T-SHIRT. 

Ok, now about my project. I choose to sew Hello Kitty because its more easy to draw compare to other mascots (^_^). Sorry, cannot share with you the pattern that I have draw because I didn't have scanner. If you want to try, just follow all those tips that I've already given to you. 

Below are the picture (more closer) that I've snap. 

Many of my crafter friends on Facebook said this T-shirt is so cute and they like it (^_^). For me, I think its ok as my first try and get many more good response .... so happy. Hopefully, next time I can create another felt on t-shirt project.

CRAFT TIPS >>> HOW TO SEW FELT ON YOUR T-SHIRT

Salam and nite to all my crafter friends, followers and readers.

A few days ago, someone asked me whether I accept order for sewing felt on t-shirt or not. Then, I said to her that since I'm still new in this 'felt craft world' (only about 2 months just now), and I never try to sew felt on t-shirt. I promised her that I will try to do that craft work using my tools first and contact her back after finished. 

How I will gonna do this, sewing felt on t-shirt? Which type of felt that suitable to use? It is same as beading on 'Baju Kurung (Malay's traditional women cloth)'? My brain start thinking, if I can come out with a nice t-shirt design, maybe I have chance to receive order from her.

Then, I 'm asking other crafter at 'Geng Felt Crafter Group' on Facebook. Luckily got two of them have done this project before and very kind to share some useful tips with me. Here, I share with you some tips that have been given by my craft seniors, Kraf Fieza and Tie Ganu .

• used 100% POLYESTER FELT because it can be wash (washable) and the colour of felt is still maintain after wash, DON'T USED acrylic felt
• for HANDMADE you need to be careful and sew it tightly and closely, so the stitch will not open when use wash that shirt
• used GLUE PAPER like in the picture below, inside the t-shirt to make your stitch more tight on that shirt.
• you can used either REGULAR THREAD (need to double the thread to make your stitch look more clear on polyester) like we used in sewing cloth or SPECIAL THREAD FOR FELT
